Learning Chinese Tea Ceremony
In the afternoon of June 11th, Chen Yan, a student graduated from Zhejiang Economy and Trade Institute was invited to the classroom of Survey of China to present the traditional Chinese tea ceremony to the international students of the International School of Education at HDU.
Chen who is also the first prize winner of the Chinese National Tea Ceremony Competition showed the students how to place tea utensils, swing the cup, enjoy tea, and place tea cups. After warming the cups, she placed tea leaves and moved the tea cup to emit the fragrance. The tea ceremony reached the peak by Phoenix Three Nods (pouring boiling water into the cups by three times to show respect to guests).
The international students were all amazed by the tea service skills. When the warm water was poured in the cups, the fragrance of the green tea was emitting. After a **all sip of the tea, the fragrance of the tea came into the mouth and teeth. This is Chinese taste.
Tea culture is one part of the traditional Chinese culture. The tea ceremony performance has helped the international students feel and understand the Chinese tea culture.
