Admission Requirements:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, have graduated from high school, and be under the age of 30.

Applicants must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations and respect Chinese people’s custom.

Applicants to liberal arts must have a test score of grade 5 in the old version of HSK or score 210 in new HSK grade 4 or above; applicants to science and engineering must have a test score of grade 4 in the old version of HSK or score 190 in new HSK grade 4 or above.

For applicants to English-instructed programs, Chinese proficiency is not required. But TOEFL (550 or 80) or IELTS(5.5) is required.

4. Transcript of previous study

5. 1 digital picture (as Annex 3)

6. HSK certificate (for Chinese-instructed program applicants)

7. TOFEL or IELTS certificates (for English-instructed program applicants)

Documents can be submitted after being recruited:

1. Medical Examination Result

2. Remittance receipt of the application fee (RMB 400).

Note:

1. Application materials and application fee will NOT be returned regardless of the result of application.

2. All the documents shall be in Chinese or in English

For students who transfer from other universities of China, please send us the following documents in addition to above documents:
1.       Transfer letter from the current university (with the name and telephone number of the contact teacher, who issued the transfer letter).
2.       Transcript record of study in the current university.
3.       An evaluation letter
The student shall leave his/her available email address, telephone number and accurate mail address in the application form.

If there is any recommend person (contact person) in China, please leave his/her name, mail address and telephone number in the application form.

Each document shall be no bigger than 400kb.

We will reply within 3 work days upon receiving the above documents.

Note:

1. Please send the scan copy of the bank receipt to joywu@hdu.edu.cn after you remitting the tuition and fees to the school’s account.

2. When wiring tuition fee to the university bank account, please fill in applicant’s name and the program you are going to take. Anonymous remittance will be considered a donation to the University.

Registration

The exact time will be confirmed on the matriculation notice. Students should apply for an X or X1 visa at the Chinese Embassy. Usually a valid passport, admission letter, and JW202 form are need for the visa application.
